Want skin with red-carpet glow? Maleka recommends

I believe that one of the most important factors for youthful skin is radiance, that gives your skin a youthful glow and is why, it is a theme that runs through my entire collection of MERUMAYA products.  This post is all about how to get the red-carpet glow.  I will restrict myself to just two of my own in this post and focus the rest on products that I am currently using from other brands.  Be aware though, that first step is to have healthy, vibrant skin, as make up items can only do their magic on the top of a good base so, good skincare is of utmost importance.
RMS highlighter luminiser
Living Luminizer by RMS Living Luminizer by RMS beauty is more of a shimmer than an attack of the disco diva.  It is a solid cream/gel, which gives a sort of dewy glow and is likely to be better than a powder if you have a lines round the eyes, that extend onto the top of the cheek.  Apply it after powder blusher otherwise the blusher sticks to it.  I've been using my fingers to apply it on upper cheek bones, above the cupids bow on my lips, centre forehead and a dab on centre chin.  All the places where light catches and reflects. You could also use a make up brush or sponge if you prefer. I bought this from Cult Beauty and it was £30.
MERUMAYA best Iconic Youth Serum glowy skin
Iconic Youth Serum improves hydration adds plumpness and has a dewy finish.  Iconic Youth Serum™ contains three active ingredients that seriously enhance radiance and luminosity.  Added to that, is intense hydration and plumping from high and low molecular weights, of Hyaluronic Acid.  Use on clean skin morning and night and you can see and feel a difference from first use, that just keeps getting better.  To freshen your skin you can dab small amounts over your make up, on the upper cheek bones, forehead, chin etc., to get the glow without the glitz.
Gentle Exfoliating Toner MERUMAYA AHA acid best  Finally an acid toner that is as gentle as it is effective. Brighter, clearer skin for all.
The newly launched Gentle Exfoliating Toner™ is currently getting rave reviews from industry and acid toner experts.  Natural AHA's in full strength, remove the surface layer of dead skin cells that give a grey-ness to the skin. Ours also packs a punch of buffering hydration, with the addition of Natural Betaine and Hyaluronic Acid. It's as gentle as it is effective.  It's the first product to feature our refreshed branding and I hope you like it - do let me know.       I am having a serious love affair with HourGlass Ambient Lighting Blush in colour Dim Infusion.  I bought  A peachy toned blusher called Dim Infusion from HourGlass.[/caption] it from the Harrods Urban Retreat and it is also sold at SpaceNK at £32.  It is the very best peachy toned blusher I have ever used and you can see from the photo, it is very well used indeed.  I think it is a shade that adds a youthful luminosity to pretty much any skin type.  I also love the shape and feel of the compact. Great too, that they did not try to fit in one of those useless tiny brushes into it.

MERUMAYA highlighter Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Moonstone A pressed power highlighter.
Last up on today's list of recommendations is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (pressed) in shade Moonstone, which I also bought from Cult Beauty for £32. If you prefer a powder highlighter, this is a good one with good pay-off and easily blend-able, if you accidentally get shimmer-happy. I think it will last a long time, if the pan does not crumble. There were a few comments about the pan breaking up in the customer reviews. So far, mine is intact.  Again the effect is shimmery rather than glittery.  I've used it in the same places as the RMK one and it is a quicker to use product.   Please share your thoughts on this post in the comments section below and let me know if there are any topics you would like me to address in a future post.
