Cacay (Kahai) Oil - the new 'miracle' beauty oil?

I was prompted to write this post because I have just seen published, another article that heralds Cacay Oil as the latest 'miracle' beauty oil, over and above Argan oil.  It's almost word for word the press release that we sent out two years ago, when we launched Everything Everywhere Beauty Oil™.

Two years later, Cacay Oil is gaining notoriety,  though our product is not mentioned in the list of the ' best Cacay Oil ' products!  The disadvantage of being first to market, when you are a small independent brand, perhaps? Our fans and customers will know that we introduced Cacay Oil about two years ago. We showed the favourable comparisons with the much lauded Argan Oil (another 'miracle' created by marketing), including the far higher content of Vitamin E, Linoleic Acid and x3 Natural Retinol in comparison to Rose-hip oil.

 

Compared to all other oils, Cacay Oil has the highest amount of natural Retinol; a component that reduces wrinkles, helps boost collagen production and even regenerates the skin. In fact, it has three times more natural Retinol than Rosehip Oil in a more stable and non-irritating molecule. Vitamin A (retinol) is an anti-oxidant that helps to activate the skin’s natural renewal process, to rebuild and replenish skin tissue. On Friday morning I had the absolute honor of meeting Meleka Dattu at our local independent boutiques store Sandersons. I had already experimented and purchased some of merumayas lovely products thanks to Nooska who works at the store as she is a book of knowledge and has helped me no end to find the right products for my teenage daughter and myself. Speaking with Meleka about my 11 year old who has suffered terrible psoriasis on her scalp since she was a baby, Meleka reccomended I try the everything everywhere oil as an overnight scalp treatment. I dont have a before pic as Shannon is very embarrassed about her condition and has never allowed me to take a photo as she has got older. For over a decade we have been trying to find a medical cure for her condition which has included brutal treatments which broke my heart . Her head upto this morning was literally at one of its worst break outs with weeping crustations and bleeding . She never battered an eyelid when I applied the oil which is a first as she climbs the walls I pain sometimes. She also has antihistamine daily to help with the itching. This morning we have rinsed her hair and used a mild shampoo which she has prescribed by our gp and i am absolutely amazed at the results. Although there is slight redness( I so wish I had a before pic) its an absolute miracle . There is not one scab or weeping patch on her head and the slight redness I am convinced is for previous scratching .
